Having started with Alaskan Malamutes it is hard for many other breeds to instantly strike you with their appearance and presence.  Especially a breed like the Alaskan Husky which have no distinctive standard or appearance.  The only defining standard of an Alaskan Husky is it's purpose, which is that of a highly efficient sled dog.  Our passion for them grew by working with the dogs in their natural environment doing what they where born to do.  It is hard not to be amazed by their stamina both mentally and physically.  These dogs have some of the most amazing personalities, and very soon our love for them paralleled our love for our Alaskan Malamutes.

In the past there have been attempts to establish breed standards for them and register the breed.  These attempts have never succeeded and would only impede the development of the breed.

We have not breed our Alaskan Huskies, however we do plan to breed them on return to NZ.  Again breeding will be done primarily to develop our kennel and dogs will be housed to working homes.
